Dr Lorenzo graduated with honours from the University of Bologna, Italy.
He then pursued advanced training, completing a Postgraduate Specialty Program in Oral Surgery and earning a Certificate in Implant Dentistry from the European Association for Osseointegration. Furthering his expertise, he obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Implantology and Bone Reconstructive Surgery and is currently enrolled in a PhD program in Biomedical and Neuromotor Sciences.
As a Research Fellow specialising in implant dentistry and reconstructive surgery, Lorenzo has authored over 30 peer-reviewed papers and more than 40 research abstracts. He serves as a Teaching Assistant and Clinical Tutor for both the BDS Oral Surgery course and the MSc in Implantology at the University of Bologna. Lorenzo has also lectured at international congresses, including events in Florida, and has received multiple awards for his research contributions.
In addition to his academic and research roles, Lorenzo runs his own dental clinics in Italy and works as an Oral Surgery consultant in London. His clinical practice focuses on implantology, wisdom teeth removal, and bone reconstructive surgery.
